DPA 60 C oil breakdown voltage tester – light in weight despite high test voltage

Sulz, April 2014 – With the DPA 60 C oil breakdown voltage tester, BAUR Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH presents a lighter alternative to the well-known DPA 75 C that is also easier to transport. Just like its “big brother”, the DPA 60 C offers clear breakdown detection and automatic measurements. The model also still offers the user a design with intuitive operation and menu control with 13 languages. It is capable of providing (reproducible) breakdown measurements for mineral, silicone and vegetable oil with a maximum of 60 kV, and has a top-quality cup made of the high-performance plastic Grilamide PA12. In addition to the precise evaluation electronics, the temperature measurement of the liquids ensures measurement reliability.

The DPA 60 C is supplied as standard with a normal mains connection and a 12 V connection but does not come with an integrated battery. This makes the device approximately two kilograms lighter. However, the design is also available with battery mode as an optional extra. To facilitate onsite use, the housing and the transport case, now available as an option, have a robust and compact design. The transport case is also designed in a way that makes it possible for the DPA 60 C to be operated while remaining in the case; only the lid of the transport case has to be removed.
