Advanced course in cable fault location in the low-voltage and lighting network (DE)
Objectives
Cable faults in the low-voltage and lighting network present us with unique challenges on a daily basis. These include highly branched networks, consumers that cannot be disconnected, or faults that only occur periodically. This seminar aims to examine the particular aspects of cable fault location in these networks and to familiarise participants with the various approaches and measurement technologies.

- Systematic approach to the connection of the cable test van and to cable fault pre-location and pin-pointing in the low-voltage and lighting network
- Cable fault pre-location and cable fault pin-pointing in the low-voltage network with the intelligent mains fuse (LV-Guard / NSG) and using bridge measurement (shirla) in the case of earth faults
- Tracing of cables
- Echometry
- Cable and phase identification

All participants will receive a copy of the BAUR cable fault location application guide, the presentation materials, and a certificate of attendance from BAUR.
4 to 8 November 2024 (seminar no. 2423-1)
The seminar is aimed at cable measurement engineers and employees of smaller public works who have previously attended the basic course in cable fault location and would like to gain further and more in-depth practical experience, especially regarding fault location in the low-voltage and lighting network.
The seminar language is German.
